CHILDREN'S BOOKS
I write fiction and non-fiction books for young readers.
My debut picture book, LUNA'S GREEN PET, is a sweet, funny story about a little girl rescuing a houseplant and raising it as her pet. With adorable illustrations by Carmen Mok, LUNA'S GREEN PET publishes in August with Sleeping Bear Press.

In 2023, my lyrical picture book set on the West Coast will publish. And ... more projects are in the works! I also write board books, chapter books, and middle grade novels.

My children's books are represented by Natalie Lakosil at the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.

Stay tuned for more news!

ABOUT ME
I'm a poet and a children's author. My debut picture book, LUNA'S GREEN PET, publishes in August 2022! You can find my poems in multiple literary magazines and anthologies including Best Canadian Poetry 2021. Formerly a broadcast journalist and producer with NPR and CBC Radio, I now do freelance communications and editing work. I'm a literacy mentor with The Writer's Exchange and a moderator for author events at the Vancouver Writers Fest. I'm grateful to live in beautiful BC, Canada, between the Pacific Ocean and the North Shore Mountains, with my funny family, my cute dog and some very demanding hummingbirds.
